Hello everyone. Now you're entering the world of ThirtyMama. The joyous, happy, frightening, sometimes lonely world of being a thirtysomething year old mama. This is for those of us who spent our twenties being fancy free traveling, shopping, girl-tripping, dating, career climbing, but who gave it all (or most) of it up to have a precious bundle of joy. We know that this is one of, if not the most, happiest time of our lives!
Unfortunately, it can also be one of the most loneliest places on earth.
Whatever it is, I wouldn't trade it for the world. But there are a lot of unexpected bumps in the road. And the funny thing is, the most expected behavior comes from my baby, and the most unexpected behavior comes from the people around me - family, friends, my significant other, co-workers. Some of the behavior is unexpected in a good way, but some is unexpected in a bad way. I know I'm not the only one who feels like this, so I hope this blog can let all of the rest of the ThirtyMamas in the world know that they are not alone. And make me feel like I'm not alone either.
